abntex software package provides LaTeX class for writing documents in ABNT standard, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install abntex
abntex is installed in your system.
Make ensure the abntex package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep abntex *
You will get with abntex package name, version, architecture and description in a table
